San Diego Alliance for APIAs invites you to the 17th Annual San Diego Dragon Boat Festival.

On land, celebrate with Pan-Asian cultures and cuisines!

​On water, race to the beat of the drums!

This event is free to the general public. Everyone is welcome to stop by, watch the races, cheer for your favorite team, watch the cultural performances on stage, and enjoy vendor food.

Only registered teams, see below, will be allo​wed to compete during the event.

Teams
The following divisions are opened to 18-paddler team
  • Open
  • Women
  • Mixed; much include a minimum of 8 women
All team may have up to 18 paddlers, plus steerer and drummer, in a boat at once (no minimum number of paddlers will be enforced).

All divisions will complete over 250m, up to 4 boats at a time.
